For more than 170 years, the Micil family has been creating outstanding Irish spirits along the shores of Galway Bay. Micil Distillery pays tribute to their great-great-great grandfather, Micil Mac Chearra, who initiated the distillation of poitin in 1848 on a Connemara hillside. Across six generations and over 170 years, their family has upheld the tradition, producing exceptional spirits using ancestral recipes, artisanal expertise, and time-honored methods.

Micil Heritage Poitin is warm, sweet and fruity with balanced nutty character and gentle peat smoke throughout. Vibrant and aromatic with distinct texture.
