Kokki Sake Brewery

Kokki Sake Brewery was built after the Great Fire of Bunka 5 and still retains the atmosphere of a townhouse from the end of the Edo period. The sake brewery facing Lake Shinji was inherited from the Matsudaira family, the feudal lord of Matsue.

Booze is a living thing. Every year is new. Sake, which is made with the help of micro-organisms, has to be handmade with a lot of care and attention day and night to produce good sake.
