Muscat Berry A (from Yamagata Prefecture) Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc (from Chikuma City, Nagano Prefecture)
A natural red wine blending Muscat Berry A (Yamagata) and Bordeaux varieties (Nagano) in a 50:50 ratio. Whole bunch, semi-carbonic maceration in open wooden vats with wild yeast fermentation. Gentle extraction begins on day five, followed by daily punching down. After 40 days, the juice is pressed and aged for 12 months in 500L foudres and 228L barrels. Bottled without added sulfur. Expect vibrant berry flavors, a silky texture, and a refined barrel aroma, with great aging potential.
